Welcome Coordinator - Bilingual Spanish Required

Role Description

The Welcome Coordinator at Oak Street Health plays a vital role in creating an inclusive environment for all visitors, leaving a positive first and last impression on our patients. This role is the face of our clinic and essential to maintaining smooth operations. Welcome Coordinators handle various administrative tasks—such as scheduling, managing calls, and handling mail—that support delivering an exceptional patient experience. They should be friendly, adaptable, and enthusiastic about providing high-touch assistance.

As part of our Service Team, reporting to the Practice Manager, Welcome Coordinators focus on seamless patient interactions and community engagement, ensuring every visit is welcoming and efficient.

Core Responsibilities

  • Welcoming patients and guests 🤝
  • Conducting visit check-in and assisting with forms 📝
  • Collecting co-pays 💵
  • Updating patient information in electronic medical records 💻
  • Scheduling and rescheduling appointments 📅
  • Managing phone lines—answering, messaging, outbound calls 📞
  • Handling faxes through the electronic fax system 📠
  • Maintaining cleanliness of Welcome and Community Rooms 🧹
  • Providing coverage at other centers regionally when needed 🌎
  • Performing other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Required

  • Strong computer skills; basic knowledge of Google Suite 💻
  • Professional phone etiquette 📞
  • Fluency in Spanish, Polish, Russian, or other community languages 🗣️
  • Us work authorization 🇺🇸

Strongly Preferred

  • Experience in customer service 🌟
  • Some college education 🎓

Work Details

Anticipated Weekly Hours: 40 hours

Time Type: Full-time

Pay Range: $17.00 – $34.15 per hour 💰

The actual salary depends on experience, education, location, and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for bonuses, commissions, or incentive programs offered by CVS Health.
