Role Description

The Welcome Coordinator at Oak Street Health embodies warmth and professionalism, creating an inclusive atmosphere for all visitors. As the face of our clinic, you will support efficient operations through excellent administrative and customer service skills. Your efforts will directly enhance the patient experience and operational flow.

Key responsibilities include:

• Greeting and welcoming patients and guests with friendliness and professionalism
• Managing patient check-ins and assisting with forms
• Handling co-pay collections
• Updating patient information in electronic medical records
• Scheduling and rescheduling appointments in digital systems
• Answering and managing inbound/outbound phone calls
• Handling faxes and correspondence electronically
• Maintaining cleanliness of the Welcome and Community Room areas
• Occasionally floating to other centers within the region
• Performing other assigned duties as needed

Who We're Looking For 🎯

Required Skills

• Strong computer proficiency and basic knowledge of Google Suite
• Professional and courteous phone etiquette
• Fluency in Spanish or other languages spoken by our communities (e.g., Polish, Russian)
• Legal authorization to work in the US

Strongly Preferred

• Customer service experience in a healthcare or related setting
• Some college education completed

Additional Skills & Qualities

• Flexible and positive attitude
• Warm, welcoming, and nurturing demeanor for older adult patients
• High level of integrity and professionalism

Details & Compensation 💼

Weekly Hours: 40

Position Type: Full-time

Pay Range: $17.00 – $31.30 per hour

The actual salary will depend on experience, education, location, and other relevant factors. This role is eligible for additional bonuses, commissions, or incentives through CVS Health programs.
