Role Overview

The Welcome Coordinator at Oak Street Health is the friendly face that creates an inclusive environment for every patient. Your role is vital in making a positive first and last impression, ensuring smooth operations and an exceptional patient experience. You’ll handle administrative tasks, manage patient interactions, and support team efforts to deliver outstanding care and foster a welcoming atmosphere.

Key Responsibilities

• 🤝 Welcoming patients and guests with warmth
• 📝 Conducting visit check-ins and assisting with required forms
• 💵 Collecting co-pays from patients
• 🔄 Updating patient information in electronic records
• 📅 Scheduling and rescheduling appointments via electronic systems
• 📞 Managing inbound and outbound phone calls, taking messages as needed
• 📠 Handling faxes efficiently in the electronic fax platform
• 🧹 Maintaining cleanliness in Welcome and Community Room areas
• 🔄 Floating to other regional centers when required
• 🛠️ Performing other duties as assigned

What We’re Looking For

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 🖥️ Strong computer skills and basic knowledge of Google Suite
• 📞 Professional phone etiquette
• 🗣️ Fluency in Spanish, Polish, Russian, or other languages spoken by our community members (where necessary)
• 🇺🇸 US work authorization

Preferred Qualifications

• 😊 Experience in customer service settings
• 🎓 Some college education preferred

Position Details

• Weekly Hours: 40 hours
• Type: Full-time
• Pay Range: $17.00 - $31.30 per hour

Compensation & Benefits

Our competitive pay range reflects experience, education, and location. This role is eligible for bonuses, commissions, or short-term incentives in addition to base pay.
