About Study Smart Tutors

Study Smart Tutors is a college and career access organization dedicated to promoting educational equity, access, and success. We collaborate with partners to provide a diverse array of tools for students, families, and educators. Our mission is rooted in closing opportunity gaps and empowering communities through high‑quality, culturally responsive academic support.

We offer free college access courses to our students and their families by partnering with schools, outreach programs, and other organizations to deliver effective college and career programming as well as classroom‑based test preparation.

Responsibilities

• 💻 Provide tutoring support to small and large groups of students in a virtual environment
• 🔍 Access and utilize information about class assignments
• 🔄 Adapt to new materials and teaching strategies
• 🤝 Maintain consistent communication with Study Smart Tutors staff
• 🎯 Collaborate with our Education team to deliver comprehensive learning strategies to students

Qualifications

• Must: Hold a completed 4‑year degree 🎓
• Must: Be bilingual in Spanish OR Korean 🗣️
• Teaching or tutoring experience in ELD is strongly desired
• This is a virtual opportunity
• Scheduled hours: Part‑time, after school hours, Monday through Friday, three times a week ⏰
• Complete and pass a background check, which may include fingerprinting depending on location
