Seeking experienced, security-cleared language instructors to support mission-focused foreign language programs, delivering adult language instruction, assessments, and curriculum development within a structured government environment.

Location: CONUS - Washington Metropolitan Area

Responsibilities 🎯

• Provide language instruction to adult learners in professional or government training settings.
• Support a 40-hour work week, splitting time evenly between teaching (20 hours) and lesson development, student assessment, and testing support (20 hours).
• Develop, prepare, and deliver mission-focused language lessons tailored to student needs and program goals.
• Conduct language testing and student assessments per sponsor standards and program guidance.
• Apply knowledge of history, culture, politics, economy, and current events to enhance language instruction relevance and effectiveness.
• Utilize foreign language learning technology, instructional tools, and teaching methods to support classroom delivery and student progress.
• Work under the guidance of senior instructors and complete sponsor training to achieve certification in mission-focused language instruction and testing.
• Support instructional tasks such as content management, course design, editing, quality control, material selection, summarizing/gisting, and report writing.

Requirements ✔️

• Active TS/SCI with polygraph security clearance
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Education, Language, or related fields (preferred)
• 5+ years of experience providing language instruction to adults, ideally in college or professional environments
• Recent experience (within last 5 years) teaching adults
• ICA Testing Requirements:
  • Translation Assessment (TA): 3
  • Speaking, Listening, Reading: 5/5/5
• Experience in language instruction, facilitation, and testing
• Proficiency in content management, course design, editing, quality control, material selection, summarizing/gisting, and report writing

Pay & Benefits 💰
