About The Role
Position: Account Management - Vendor Consultant
As a Vendor Consultant within the Selling Partner Engagement and Growth (SPEG) team, you'll have the exciting opportunity to develop and implement strategies for managing Amazon Vendors. 🌟
Key responsibilities include:
- Collaborate with internal teams from Retail and Vendor Services to optimize vendor performance on Amazon.
- Engage directly with multiple departments to enhance product lines for major manufacturers (vendors).
- Utilize a broad skill set across areas like site merchandising, inventory management, marketing, and operations to drive vendor success.
- Design and analyze marketing campaigns to increase traffic, brand presence, customer conversions, and revenue.
- Conduct root cause analyses to identify opportunities and solve issues affecting vendor business performance.
- Proactively develop strategies to grow vendor businesses on Amazon.
Responsibilities
- Measure success by the impact on vendor performance and customer experience. 📊
- Partner with the Retail Category Team to manage and champion vendor relationships.
- Establish effective communication channels and set clear expectations for growth.
- Create and execute strategic account plans aligned with key business KPIs.
- Collaborate with internal teams and vendors to improve operational processes for better consumer experiences.
- Perform deep dive analyses on vendor issues and develop recommendations based on data.
- Lead planning, roadmaps, and execution for ongoing initiatives.
- Build long-term partnerships with key vendors to foster sustained growth.
- Support the launch of new programs, categories, and features on Amazon.
- Conduct regular Weekly Business Reviews (WBRs) and Monthly Business Reviews (MBRs) with vendors, highlighting metrics and action plans.
Basic Qualifications
- Strong passion for e-commerce and industry understanding. 💻
- Proficiency in Arabic (C1/C2 certification preferred)
- 2+ years experience in Vendor Management, Sales, Account Management, or Business Development (B2B preferred).
- Proven analytical skills with the ability to manage business using data.
- Excellent communication skills—written, verbal, and presentation. 🗣️✍️
- Active listening and solution-oriented mindset.
- Comfort working in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment with full ownership of outcomes.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or experience with Lean/Six Sigma techniques.
- Associate’s or Master’s degree, preferably an MBA.
