We are seeking a passionate and experienced full-time U.S. Talent Manager to help bridge talent across the Atlantic and support Berlin-based companies in expanding their footprint in the U.S.
About Us
The Berlin Business Office USA (BBO) showcases and promotes Berlin's vibrant tech ecosystem within the U.S. Our mission is to deepen economic ties between the U.S. and Berlin by facilitating business exchanges. BBO operates under the Berlin Senate Department for Economic Affairs, Energy and Public Enterprises.
Responsibilities
- Identify and attract U.S. talent for opportunities in Berlin
- Guide Berlin-based companies on effective talent sourcing strategies in the U.S.
- Expand the BBO network into U.S. talent ecosystems
- Conduct talent research and provide insights on the U.S. market
- Identify industry-specific talent networks and represent BBO at events, fairs, and conferences nationwide
- Develop and maintain relationships with partners across the U.S.
- Travel across the U.S. for talent events and networking, adding a global perspective
- Organize events that attract top U.S. talent
- Connect with stakeholders in Berlin on talent-related initiatives
- Report directly to the Managing Director of BBO USA
Qualifications
- Minimum Bachelor's degree in business or related field
- At least 2+ years of experience in talent acquisition, HR, or international biz development
- Experience with the U.S. talent market
- Knowledge of the German talent market (preferred)
- Strong relationship-building skills with partners and companies
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English; German skills are recommended
- Proficiency with CRM tools and business software (MS Office, Web design, etc.)
- Strong social media competence
- Existing U.S. work authorization
- Results-driven with strategic thinking and multitasking abilities
- Enthusiasm for travel and international networking
