About This Role: Teller – Consumer Banking & Lending Division

As a Teller at Wells Fargo, you become an essential part of the local community, providing vital financial services to residents, employees, and businesses. This role offers a fantastic opportunity to build your career in a customer-focused environment.

Your Responsibilities:

  • 💳 Support customer engagement through processing teller transactions, digital solutions, and referrals to bankers.
  • ⚙️ Complete operational activities while minimizing risks according to established policies.
  • 📋 Handle transactional, operational, and customer support tasks efficiently.
  • 🎯 Follow managerial guidance and exercise judgment within policy frameworks.
  • 🚨 Escalate questions and issues when necessary.
  • 🤝 Interact with customers to demonstrate care, build relationships, and execute transactions.
  • 💡 Identify additional services to meet customer financial needs.

Required Qualifications:

  • 🔑 6+ months of customer interaction experience, or equivalent (work, training, military, education).
  • 🗣️ Bilingual proficiency in Spanish and English (speaking and listening).

Preferred Skills & Attributes:

  • 🎯 Customer service experience handling complex transactions.
  • 📱 Ability to educate customers on technology and mobile banking options.
  • 🤝 Demonstrate integrity and professionalism with customers and colleagues.
  • 🤝 Experience working collaboratively to meet customer needs.
  • 💵 Cash handling expertise.
  • 🔒 Strong adherence to policies, procedures, and regulation compliance.
  • 🚫 Ability to identify fraud or risky accounts proactively.
  • 🗂️ Well-organized, independent, and capable of prioritization in a fast-paced setting.
  • 🧠 Critical judgment, asking questions, and policy adherence.
  • 🎖️ Military experience related to personnel or operations is a plus.
  • 🤝 Proven ability to build and maintain customer and colleague relationships.

Job Expectations:

  • 🗓️ Availability to work most Saturdays.
  • 🚫 Not eligible for Visa sponsorship.
  • 📝 Must pass a required language assessment.
