About This Role 🏦

We are seeking a Teller to join our Consumer Banking and Lending division within the National Branch Network. As a vital part of the local community, you will help provide essential financial services to residents, businesses, and colleagues. In This Role You Will:

  • Support customer engagement by processing teller transactions, sharing digital solutions, and introducing banking services.
  • Complete operational activities while minimizing risks, adhering to established policies.
  • Perform routine transactional, operational, and customer support tasks efficiently, leveraging knowledge of bank procedures and products.
  • Follow directions from managers and exercise judgment within defined policies and procedures.
  • Escalate questions and issues to more experienced team members.
  • Interact with customers to demonstrate care, build relationships, and process requested transactions.
  • Identify customer needs and recommend relevant financial services and information.

Required Qualifications 📋

  • At least 6 months of experience interacting with customers, or equivalent demonstrated through work, training, military service, or education.
  • Bilingual proficiency in Spanish and English (speaking and listening).

Preferred Skills & Qualifications 🌟

  • Experience handling complex transactions across multiple systems.
  • Ability to educate customers about technology and promote mobile banking options.
  • Professional integrity and ability to interact respectfully with customers and team members.
  • Teamwork skills to meet customer needs effectively.
  • Cash handling experience.
  • Knowledge of policies, procedures, and regulations.
  • Ability to identify and prevent potential fraud and risky accounts.
  • Well-organized, independent, and capable of prioritizing in a fast-paced environment.
  • Judgment, proactive questioning, and adherence to policy guidelines.
  • Military experience in personnel benefits management, processing orders/transitions, wartime operations, or human resources.
  • Proficiency in building and maintaining customer and colleague relationships.

Job Expectations 🚧

  • Willingness to work a schedule that may include most Saturdays.
  • This position is not eligible for Visa sponsorship.
  • Must pass a required language assessment.
