Position: Technical Administrative Assistant (Bilingual Japanese)

We are seeking a dedicated bilingual Japanese-speaking Technical Administrative Assistant to support our Tire Testing and Tire Development teams. This role involves translation, interpretation, daily administrative tasks, and managing purchasing activities. The position reports directly to the head of the R&D department located in White, Georgia.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Administrative Support: Provide daily support including arranging travel, scheduling meetings with internal and external stakeholders, greeting guests, handling incoming calls, responding to inquiries, and recording meeting notes.
• Record Keeping: Maintain both hard copy and electronic files and records.
• Office Supplies Management: Monitor office and testing room inventories and stock levels.
• Financial Assistance: Support monitoring and recording of departmental expenditures and disbursements.
• Team Support: Assist the Tire Development and Tire Testing teams with managing third-party testing (POs, shipping, quotes, invoices, budgets), creating and translating technical documents (specs, testing procedures, SOPs), and providing interpretation services during meetings and discussions involving international parties.
• Technical Library Management: Establish and maintain a library of specifications, standards, procedures, and related documents.
• Support for Japanese Expatriates: Help Japanese expatriates settle in during visits, residences, and work assignments in White, Georgia.
• Additional Duties: Perform other responsibilities as assigned to support the team’s success.

Compensation & Benefits

The hourly pay range for this position is $25.00 - $28.00. We offer a comprehensive benefits package designed to support your health, wellbeing, and career growth.
