Job Overview

Our client is seeking an experienced, bilingual PDC Supervisor to lead the daily warehouse operations at our New Jersey Parts Distribution Center. This role involves managing frontline staff, optimizing workflow, ensuring safety and productivity, and maintaining high operational standards aligned with company KPIs. The ideal candidate excels in leadership, thrives under pressure, and is dedicated to improving team performance.

Responsibilities 📝

  • Leadership & Training: Lead, train, mentor, and coach PDC personnel to ensure safe, productive, and high-quality operations.
  • Development: Create training programs and conduct hands-on instruction for new hires and employees learning new skills.
  • Performance Management: Perform daily audits, monthly performance discussions, and bi-annual reviews for direct reports.
  • Operational Monitoring: Monitor daily volume, allocate resources, and meet operational KPIs and service level targets.
  • Shipping & Receiving: Oversee inbound receiving and outbound shipping for accuracy and timeliness.
  • Administrative & Communication: Manage administrative tasks and maintain communication with the PDC Manager and internal/external partners.
  • Budget Control: Track and control departmental spending within budget guidelines.
  • Inventory Supervision: Supervise cycle counts, inspections, discrepancy investigations, mixed stock issues, and dealer return resolutions.
  • Material Accuracy: Ensure accuracy and integrity of all material movements and documentation.
  • Safety & Maintenance: Maintain facility safety, cleanliness, housekeeping, and regulatory compliance.
  • Process Improvement: Evaluate space utilization and recommend layout or process enhancements.
  • Budget Planning: Support annual operational and capital budget planning.
  • Audits & Inspections: Assist with physical inventories, quality inspections, and ongoing process audits.
  • Safety Promotion: Foster and maintain a safe working environment at all times.

Qualifications ✅

  • Minimum of two years college education required
  • 3+ years of supervisory experience demonstrating strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
  • Experience supervising 20-30 employees
  • 2+ years in a warehouse, distribution center (especially outbound), or manufacturing environment
  • Ability to analyze data, resolve problems, and make sound decisions
  • Proficiency with software tools such as Word, Excel, etc.
  • Bilingual: Spanish (speak, read, and write) required
