Qcells is looking for a talented and analytical Strategic Finance Specialist (Korean Bilingual) to support the Business Planning team at Axia, a leading residential solar provider. This role offers an exciting opportunity to influence business profitability, enhance financial analysis, and support strategic decision-making across a dynamic industry.

Position Overview 📈

Based in San Francisco, CA, this role involves collaborating cross-functionally with teams such as Planning, Finance, and Operations to translate business activity into forecasting models, performance dashboards, and actionable insights. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong analytical judgment, thrive in ambiguity, and communicate financial results effectively to diverse audiences. The role requires up to 20% travel as needed.

Key Responsibilities 📝

  • Develop and improve financial analysis tools (models, dashboards, reports) to provide leadership with clear insights into business performance, profitability, and cashflow.
  • Build and maintain core financial models including:
    • Loan asset forecasting (volume, yield, timing, performance)
    • P&L forecasting (revenue, margins, operating expenses)
    • Cashflow forecasting (working capital, collections, funding, liquidity)
  • Monitor key KPIs, benchmarks, risks, and growth opportunities, delivering insights that guide strategic actions.
  • Lead and support the P&L forecasting and reporting process, ensuring alignment with sales targets and risk scenarios across planning cycles.
  • Implement financial crisis management strategies by integrating risk analysis, triggers, and contingency plans to enhance resilience during volatility.
  • Perform delinquency and receivables analysis to identify trends, forecast exposures, and optimize working capital and credit risk management.
  • Collaborate with Accounting and Operations to enhance forecast accuracy through variance analysis, transparency, and accountability.
  • Contribute to special projects such as pricing/margin analysis, scenario planning, cost optimization, new product economics, and process improvements.
  • Perform other duties as assigned to support team objectives.

Qualifications 🎯

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting, Math, Economics, Finance, Statistics, Science, or Engineering
  • 5+ years of experience in FP&A or related finance functions
  • Strong ability to synthesize complex data into clear, actionable recommendations
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel (modeling, forecasting, data analysis), Word, and Outlook
  • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills for collaboration across teams

Preferred Skills & Certifications 🌟

  • CFA or CPA certifications strongly preferred
  • Additional 3+ years of experience in finance/FP&A (optional but advantageous)
