We are looking for a dedicated Emerging Markets Sales Account Executive to expand our reach in emerging markets, supporting new business acquisition and delivering exceptional, language-sensitive customer experiences.
About this Role 🤝
The Emerging Markets Sales Account Executive will support our efforts to convert inbound demand and discover new opportunities through referrals. This role focuses on providing personalized experiences to restaurant clients who may face language barriers, demonstrating how Toast’s all-in-one digital platform can benefit their operations, and converting demand into new customers. Responsibilities include engaging with prospects via calls, emails, demos, and contracts in the preferred language of the customer.
Responsibilities 📝
- Generate lists of prospective restaurants and manage the entire sales cycle from initial contact to close.
- Conduct product demos in the customer's preferred language and develop tailored solutions.
- Create and review quotes and contracts in the customer's language.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure expectations set during sales are met during delivery.
- Utilize Salesforce CRM to manage all sales activities efficiently.
- Analyze the competitive landscape and strategically position Toast in the market.
Do you have the right ingredients? 🔑
- Proficiency in speaking, reading, and writing in Spanish and English.
- At least 1 year of experience in sales, restaurant operations, or related fields.
- Strong communication, organization, and presentation skills with negotiation expertise across decision levels.
- Proven success in achieving and surpassing goals.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial, and team-oriented environment.
- Self-motivated, creative, adaptable, and tech-savvy.

- Experience with Salesforce CRM.
- Sandler Sales Training background.

Total Targeted Cash Compensation Range 💰
The estimated total targeted cash compensation for this role ranges from $118,000 to $189,000 USD. This includes base salary, commission, and eligibility for equity and other benefits. The role offers uncapped commissions, with starting salary determined by skills, experience, and location.
