Role Overview

As a Software Engineer II, you will be responsible for building and integrating backend systems that connect global brands' digital shelves with Spreetail’s fulfillment and delivery network — powering orders, inventory, and logistics data across regions. 🌎

How You Will Achieve Success

• Build & Integrate: Develop scalable backend APIs and partner system integrations using C#/.NET.
• Optimize Systems: Enhance performance, reliability, and scalability for fulfillment and logistics applications.
• Collaborate Globally: Partner with U.S. and China-based teams to align requirements and deliver high-quality solutions.
• Own Delivery: Convert product requirements into technical designs, write clean, testable code, and ensure system reliability in production.
• Leverage AI: Use tools like Cursor, Claude Code, and ChatGPT to boost productivity and documentation quality.

Preferred Experiences

• Fluent in Mandarin and English (spoken and written).
• 36+ years of experience in C#/.NET backend development.
• Strong knowledge of API design, PostgreSQL, and distributed systems.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS or Azure) and CI/CD pipelines.
• Proactive, collaborative approach to working across time zones.

Hours of Operation ⏰

This role primarily operates during standard business hours, with occasional off-hours support for our Mandarin-speaking brand partners in Asia. Support requests usually involve API integration guidance.
