Role Overview

A Social Worker II is an exempt employee holding a Master's Degree. The role requires the ability to work independently while developing meaningful 1:1 relationships with residents. Support for Licensed Social Workers

  • WSFSSH encourages M.S.W. level social workers to obtain their licensing.
  • We offer study groups for staff preparing for the licensing exam.

Ongoing Professional Development

Once a staff member obtains their LMSW, WSFSSH supports their continued growth by covering reasonably priced CEU credits necessary for licensing. Weekly clinical supervision is provided by an LCSW. As a waivered agency with the NYS Education Department, our LMSWs' work experience can contribute toward their LCSW licensure, typically after three years of full-time employment.

License Maintenance and Further Support
