Job Description
We are looking for a dynamic and strategically-minded Social Media Specialist to amplify Bosch’s presence across our diverse social media channels. If you enjoy connecting communities, safeguarding brand reputation, and creating positive engagement, this role is for you! 🌟
In this position, you will serve as the vital link between various Bosch business units and our online audiences, driving meaningful interactions while ensuring our brand stands for excellence and innovation. Your responsibilities include:
- Community Management: Manage and orchestrate dialogues on social media accounts from multiple business units to foster positive engagement.
- Strategic Collaboration: Work with page managers and stakeholders across divisions to implement brand strategies and generate buzz around campaigns and focus topics.
- Crisis Management: Detect and escalate potentially damaging content to the appropriate teams to protect Bosch’s reputation.
- Monitoring & Analytics: Track social media performance and provide customer insights to enhance engagement strategies.
- Knowledgebase Maintenance: Keep social media guidelines updated in collaboration with internal and external teams.
- Best Practices & Development: Contribute to continuous improvements and support colleagues through coaching.
- Content Creation: Collaborate with clients and create engaging social media content as needed.
- Process Adherence: Follow Change and Release Management protocols diligently.
Qualifications
- Extensive experience in social media, especially community management and online audience engagement, ideally within an agency environment.
- Proficient knowledge of popular social media platforms and management tools.
- Excellent creative writing skills in German (C2.2 Level) and English (C1.2 Level).
- Passionate about social media trends, viral movements, and global events, with the ability to apply this knowledge practically.
- Team player with confidence, empathy, and strong verbal communication skills.
- Proactive, flexible, and capable of working independently, managing high responsibilities effectively.
- Committed to quality, continuous growth, and sustainable improvement.
- Open to collaborating within a multinational, hybrid work environment (remote/on-site) with occasional travel.
