Role Overview
InPost Italy is looking for an experienced Senior HR Business Partner to provide interim coverage during the HR Director’s maternity leave. This position carries full Director-level HR accountability for the Italian market, requiring the ability to represent People & Culture at both Management Team and Group levels from day one.
Key Responsibilities
1. HR Leadership & Supervision 🧑💼
- Provide HR leadership and act as the formal HR authority for InPost Italy during the interim period
- Represent P&C at the Italian Leadership Team and in Group / cross-country HR meetings
- Manage, coach, and develop the P&C team to ensure operational continuity
- Drive HR priorities aligned with the 2026 People roadmap
2. Budget & Finance 💰
- Own HR budget supervision and personnel cost planning
- Authorize HR banking flows financially
- Coordinate with the Compensation & Benefits team on C&B topics
3. Talent & Performance 🎯
- Oversee recruitment plans and headcount requests
- Manage performance review processes
4. Labour Relations & Compliance ⚖️
- Provide senior oversight on labour relations), including union agreements, collective bargaining, disciplinary actions, termination procedures, and conflict resolution
5. Learning, Development & Internal Communication 📚
- Set strategic direction for learning & development initiatives
- Supervise internal communication activities to ensure alignment with Group standards and consistent messaging
6. Payroll Oversight 💼
- Ensure accuracy, compliance, and continuity of payroll operations during the interim period
Required Profile
Experience 🕒
- At least 8 years of progressive HR experience, including a senior HRBP role in multinational companies
- Proven track record managing a full HR function with direct reports
- Background in logistics, e-commerce, retail, or fast-growth sectors highly preferred
Technical Skills 🛠️
- Extensive knowledge of Italian labour law and CCNL management (CCNL Commercio preferred)
- Strong expertise in compensation & benefits, salary reviews, and job architecture frameworks
- Experience with payroll oversight and HRIS platforms
Soft Skills & Leadership 🌟
- Executive presence and credibility to represent HR at Management Team and Group levels from day one
- Autonomous work approach in fast-paced, ambiguous environments with minimal onboarding
- Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills across all seniority levels
- Hands-on, delivery-oriented attitude—balancing strategic and operational demands
- Discretion and integrity when managing sensitive HR matters
Languages 🗣️
- Italian: Native or full professional proficiency
- English: Fluent (mandatory for Group meetings and international reporting)
