The Role

We’re seeking a Senior Android Engineer to contribute to our transformative financial services app. You will join a talented team of Android developers working on features for our large, global user base. A passion for crafting exceptional user experiences is essential. If you enjoy simplifying complex ideas into beautiful, user-friendly solutions, this could be the perfect role for you.

What You'll Do

• Clone the Android app into the India version and support it with feature updates.
• Deliver customer-focused features emphasizing polish, stability, and security.
• Help set and exemplify best practices for Android engineering.
• Develop and enhance complex features for current and future supported countries.
• Guide integration with external partners such as tracking, payment/KYC, and support systems.
• Participate in refactoring the current codebase to improve abstraction and modularization.

What You'll Need

• 5+ years of experience as an Android Engineer
• Proficiency in Kotlin (3-5+ years)
• Experience with MVVM, coroutines, and flows (1-3+ years)
• Familiarity with Jetpack Compose (1+ year)
• Expertise in AI-assisted development, including context management and prompt creation, with knowledge of technologies like Gemini, ChatGPT, and Claude. Familiarity with tools like CoPilot and VSCode, and ability to implement AI-generated solutions.
