Position Overview

The Senior Accountant will oversee the full-cycle accounting process, playing a vital role in establishing and monitoring internal control procedures. This position aims to ensure accurate financial data, safeguard assets, and optimize workflows to support the company's growth and financial integrity. 💼💰

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the closing processes for month-end, quarterly, and year-end periods, ensuring compliance with US GAAP. 🗓️
• Maintain the General Ledger and perform detailed reconciliations for bank accounts, AR/AP, and intercompany transactions to ensure zero discrepancies. 🔍
• Perform variance analysis (Actual vs. Budget) and provide insights into departmental spending and operational costs. 📊
• Develop and document SOPs for key financial functions such as revenue recognition, procurement, and expense management. 📝
• Monitor compliance with company policies and identify potential risks in financial reporting. ⚠️
• Implement controls for physical and digital assets, including inventory management and signature protocols. 🛡️
• Identify workflow bottlenecks and execute solutions to improve efficiency and accuracy. ⚙️
• Coordinate annual audits by preparing schedules and responding to auditor inquiries. ✅
• Assist with tax filings such as sales and property taxes, along with other regulatory requirements. 🧾
• Communicate financial results and internal control updates to the parent company in Korea. 🌏
• Collaborate with departments to ensure proper processing of expense reports and vendor payments per internal controls. 🤝

Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. 🎓
• Minimum of 5+ years accounting experience, with a preference for experience in developing or managing SOPs and internal controls. 🏢
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP and internal control best practices. 📖
• Fluent in Korean and English (native or professional proficiency). 🗣️
• Proficiency in advanced Excel (PivotTables, VLOOKUP) and ERP systems (e.g., NetSuite, SAP, Oracle). 💻
• High integrity, keen attention to detail, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment. ⚡
