Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated sales professional to sell products and services to customers within assigned non-bulk multi-dwelling units (MDU) areas with 50+ doors. The primary methods include door-to-door solicitation, lobby events, and building strong relationships with property managers.
Major Duties and Responsibilities
- Actively support efforts to simplify and enhance the customer experience 👍
- Meet monthly sales goals by increasing sales volume and penetrating assigned property portfolios 📈
- Solicit residential customers via door-to-door, lobby events, and property management relationships 🏘️
- Generate additional revenue from existing customers by upselling new and existing services 💰
- Respond to customer issues and complaints per company policies, ensuring satisfactory resolution 🔧
- Maintain awareness of competitors' activities and inform management of competitive shifts 🕵️♂️
- Participate actively in sales meetings and training programs 📅
- Complete all sales documentation accurately, supporting quality control and reporting standards 📝
- Manage funds and issue receipts in accordance with company policies 💵
Required Qualifications
Skills, Abilities, and Knowledge
- Proficient in cold calling, persuasion, and effective communication 🎙️
- Reliable personal vehicle and ability to travel to assigned territories, even during inclement weather 🚗
- Ability to work outdoors for extended periods in all seasons ☀️❄️
- Familiarity with computer systems, consumer and commercial communication devices (smartphones, routers, etc.), and software applications 💻
Education
High School Diploma or equivalent work experience.
Work Experience
At least 1+ years in sales or customer service.
Preferred Qualifications
Skills, Abilities, and Knowledge
- Understanding of communications technologies and data networking fundamentals ⚙️
- Knowledge of cable or telecommunications services 📡
- Experience in consumer education about products and services 📚
- Successful previous sales or prospecting experience, cold calling preferred 🎯
- Bilingual Spanish language skills (preferred) 🗣️
Work Experience
Minimum 2+ years in sales or related roles.
Working Conditions
- Approximately 80% of work is outdoors in various weather conditions 🌦️
- Must be able to lift 10-20 pounds over 20-30 feet for digital boxes and equipment 🏋️♂️
- Exposed to moderate noise levels 🔊
- Availability to work evenings, weekends, holidays, and variable hours 🕒

The base salary ranges from $33,200 to $66,000 annually, with additional incentive-based earnings starting at $65,000. Compensation depends on skills, experience, and location.
