About the Role

As a Scheduling Coordinator, you will ensure our patients receive timely, consistent care by coordinating with our dedicated home health aides. Your responsibilities include scheduling visits, verifying visits, and providing exceptional customer support to patients, aides, and insurance partners. This role is essential for in-person engagement and team collaboration, ensuring safety and efficiency in our care delivery.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and manage case coverage for home health aides to meet all patient needs
  • Monitor missed visits and verify Electronic Visit Verification (EVV) using HHA Exchange software
  • Maintain accurate patient records with detailed notes in the system
  • Provide customer service support to patients, aides, and insurance companies
  • Assist patients with navigating their care and communicating with insurance providers
  • Collaborate with team members to cover staffing gaps and achieve operational goals
  • Take ownership of assigned cases, prioritizing patient well-being

Skills & Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 2+ years of experience as a Patient Care Coordinator in homecare (preferred)
  • Proficiency with HHA Exchange software and basic computer applications
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent multitasking and time management abilities
  • Problem-solving skills and quick decision-making capabilities
  • Fluent in Russian and English (required)
  • Must be able to commute to Brooklyn, NY
