  • Salary Range: $45,000.00 - $55,000.00 (US Dollars)

About the Role

Our client, a Japanese food distributor, is seeking a Korean/Chinese Bilingual Sales Rep. Your main focus will be acting as a liaison, ensuring customer satisfaction, and playing a proactive role in sales growth. Showcasing excellent communication and negotiation skills, you will help build and maintain high-standard relationships between the company and its clients.

🔹 Responsibilities

  • Conduct market research to identify selling opportunities and evaluate customer needs
  • Actively seek new sales opportunities via cold calling, networking, and social media
  • Set up meetings with potential clients to understand their wishes and concerns
  • Prepare and deliver compelling presentations on products and services
  • Coordinate with customers to provide excellent service, especially during peak times
  • Provide accurate information regarding product features, pricing, and after-sales support
  • Perform price and feature comparisons to facilitate purchase decisions
  • Manage existing customers’ accounts, merchandise returns, and receivables
  • Inform customers about discounts, promotions, and new product offerings
  • Deepen product and market knowledge to boost sales based on market trends
  • Manage accounts receivables and increase gross profit
  • Create regular sales and financial reports
  • Ensure stock availability for sales and demonstrations
  • Participate in exhibitions and conferences representing the company
  • Negotiate deals, close sales, and handle customer objections
  • Collaborate with team members to improve results
  • Gather customer feedback and share insights with internal teams
  • Obtain orders and establish new accounts through outreach and trade engagement
  • Submit orders using price lists and product specifications
  • Build and maintain long-term customer relationships
  • Troubleshoot customer issues promptly
  • Adjust sales presentations based on outlet or trade partner profile
  • Meet and exceed weekly, monthly, and quarterly sales quotas
  • Report activities and results, including call logs and territory analysis
  • Track expenses such as mileage, parking, tolls, etc.
  • Perform additional related tasks as required

🔹 Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a Sales Executive or in a similar role
  • Proficiency in Korean or Chinese languages
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office
  • Experience in the food and beverage industry, with a passion for healthy, organic, fair trade, and sustainable foods
  • Ability to regularly visit existing and potential clients, manage pricing, and monitor credit terms
  • Fluent in speaking, reading, and writing Korean or Chinese
  • Hands-on experience with CRM software (a plus)
  • Strong understanding of marketing and negotiation techniques
  • Fast learner with a results-driven mindset
  • Self-motivated and passionate about sales
  • Exceptional presentation skills
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Experience with market and cultural dealings

  • Ability to lift up to 15 pounds as needed
