🚀 About the Role

We are seeking a Sales Engineer to help build, implement, and lead our technical sales strategies within a dynamic hyper-growth environment. This fully remote position is open to candidates based in UK, Spain, Germany, or Switzerland.

🌟 What You'll Do

  • Provide technical expertise during pre-sales, ensuring effective sales engineering processes.
  • Lead the Sales Engineering team in applying sales methodologies, best practices, and CRM system usage.
  • Collaborate with sales leadership and product teams to drive operational excellence and meet sales targets.
  • Maintain accuracy and accountability within internal systems and tools.
  • Support the sales team with technical guidance, tools, and knowledge for success.
  • Deliver compelling presentations to customers and prospects, highlighting the value of our solutions.
  • Represent Torq at conferences, forums, and industry seminars to promote our offerings.
  • Engage in regional industry events and establish thought leadership.
  • Coordinate with internal teams to ensure solutions align with client expectations.
  • Contribute to product development feedback and enhancements based on customer insights.

🎯 Requirements

  • Minimum of 5+ years in pre-sales or solutions engineering, particularly with SaaS Cloud Security products.
  • Security knowledge is essential.
  • Fluent in English and French. Spanish proficiency is a big advantage.
  • Deep understanding of pre-sales processes and sales stages.
  • Hands-on experience with public cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure.
  • Practical knowledge of scripting/programming languages like Python, PowerShell, Bash, and APIs.
  • Excellent communication skills for technical and executive audiences.
  • Proven ability as a self-starter, managing multiple projects efficiently.
  • Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and maintain professionalism.
  • Experience in selling cybersecurity solutions like SIEM, SOAR, EDR, etc.
  • Successful track record working with Fortune 1000 companies.
  • Strong customer relationship, presentation, and influencing skills.
  • Willingness to travel frequently.
