Position Overview
This hybrid role combines approximately 90% remote/virtual work with about 10% onsite presence at distribution center offices across the Southeast Region of the United States. Office locations include:

The role typically involves in-office presence about once a month or for occasional training sessions.
Position: Sales Coordinator
As the Sales Coordinator, you will be the first point of contact for assigned Territory Managers and Customers. Your responsibilities include team selling, administrative support, and resolving questions or issues promptly using detailed knowledge of US Foods products, systems, and tools. You will act as the primary liaison among Customers, Territory Managers, District Sales Managers, and other support teams, including Operations, Credit, and Transportation.
Key Responsibilities
- Engage in regular phone conversations with customers — taking orders, resolving issues, and presenting sales opportunities 📞
- Review Online orders to ensure accuracy and completeness, offering substitutes when necessary 🔍
- Provide administrative support to sales teams, including processing credits, special orders, and rerouting deliveries 🗂️
- Escalate issues appropriately to ensure timely resolution 🚀
- Support order guide maintenance and customer shopping lists in US Foods.com 🛒
- Utilize US Foods systems such as Salesforce.com, Edge, PRISM, and others for quick response and insights 🖥️
- Participate in sales meetings, product trainings, and vendor knowledge development 📚
- Support weekend coverage and act as vacation backup for the sales team weekend calls ⏳
What You Bring to the Table
- High School diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor’s degree preferred 🎓
- Minimum of 3 years of customer service experience; foodservice distribution experience is a plus 🍽️
- Strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills 💬
- Proven customer service orientation with the ability to influence and persuade effectively 💼
- Ability to manage multiple issues simultaneously and resolve them successfully 🔄
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook required 💻
Schedule & Language Requirements
Schedule:
- Sunday - Thursday
- 8:00 am - 4:00 pm (Sunday)
- 8:30 am - 5:00 pm (Monday - Thursday)
Language: This is a bilingual Spanish/English position — candidate must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking both languages 🗣️

The expected base rate for this role ranges from $17 - $26 per hour, depending on experience, education, skills, location, and other factors. 💰
