This hybrid position combines approximately 90% remote work with 10% onsite presence at distribution centers across the Southeast Region of the United States, including:

On average, in-office visits are expected about once a month or occasionally for training purposes.
🎯 Key Responsibilities
- First Point of Contact: Serve as the initial contact for assigned Territory Managers and Customers, supporting team selling, administrative tasks, and resolving inquiries promptly.
- Customer Relations: Engage with customers via phone, take orders, resolve issues, and identify sales opportunities.
- Order Management: Review and ensure the accuracy of orders placed through US Foods Online, providing suitable substitutions as needed.
- Communication & Support: Act as liaison between Customers, Sales Managers, and other departments like Operations, Credit, and Transportation.
- Administrative Duties: Support Territory and District Managers with credits, special orders, delivery routing, and more.
- Issue Resolution: Escalate problems appropriately to maintain smooth operations.

Days: Sunday - Thursday
Hours: 8:00 am - 4:00 pm on Sundays
8:30 am - 5:00 pm from Monday to Thursday

Main Ingredients of the Job
- Develop relationships with internal and external key customers to achieve Key Results.
- Reach out to customers for orders, up-sell, cross-sell, and promote ongoing promotions.
- Collaborate with Territory Managers to support their customers and drive sales through scheduled contact and suggestive selling.
- Provide timely responses to customer and internal inquiries using US Foods systems like Salesforce.com, Edge, PRISM, and more.
- Maintain ownership of follow-up communication and escalate issues when necessary.
- Participate in sales meetings, product training, and develop product/vendor knowledge.
- Assist with administrative tasks such as processing credits, special orders, and delivery adjustments.
- Handle product receiving, pricing inquiries, and provide backup support for sales teams, including weekends.
What You Bring To The Table
- High School diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years customer service experience, preferably in food service distribution.
- Knowledge of CRM tools, especially Salesforce.com, is a plus.
- Exceptional verbal communication, interpersonal skills, and problem-solving abilities.
- Customer-focused with professional influencing capabilities.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.

This role offers overtime pay, with a typical base salary ranging between $17 - $26 per hour, depending on experience, education, and location. Additional benefits include:
