We are seeking a passionate and strategic Sales Manager to lead our efforts in building strong relationships, driving sales growth, and collaborating across departments to deliver exceptional products to consumers nationwide.

Job Description

🤝 Strategic Partnership & Leadership

  • Partner with the VP of Sales, peers, brokers, and the distributor network to develop, execute, and drive our sales strategy targeting U.S. grocery store channels — including National and Regional Retail Accounts.
  • Manage and motivate the broker network by collaborating with all levels of broker personnel.
  • Build strong, credible relationships with existing customers and channels through meetings, site visits, etc., to achieve sales projections.

🎯 Sales & Revenue Management

  • Achieve budgeted revenues and team sales goals, maximizing profitability.
  • Manage day-to-day sales activities: developing new accounts, maintaining existing ones, and implementing strategies outlined by the sales manager.
  • Develop and execute distribution targets and promotion plans aligned with company guidelines.
  • Manage customer sales forecasts, distribution targets, profitability, and trade spend.
  • Coordinate activities to increase revenue and market share, monitoring performance to ensure sales meet or exceed goals.

📊 Budgeting & Market Analysis

  • Participate in preparing annual departmental operating budgets, marketing plans, and business strategies.
  • Assist in producing monthly reports and sales forecasts to analyze market and sales trends.
  • Monitor performance metrics to ensure sales objectives are met or exceeded.

🤝 Cross-Department Collaboration & Product Development

  • Facilitate collaboration with R&D, Production, Quality, and other relevant departments to drive product development and improve product quality based on customer and consumer feedback.
  • Keep the R&D team informed about food trends to create new SKUs and refine existing recipes.
  • Participate in weekly/monthly sensory tastings to provide real-time product quality feedback.

🌟 Industry Engagement & Initiatives

  • Represent the company at nation-wide food shows to explore new business opportunities.
  • Collaborate with the CEO to implement new sales initiatives.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • Minimum 1-2 years’ sales experience in the food industry.
  • Experience in managing food brokers is preferred.
  • Knowledge of sales cycles across customer types such as retailers, wholesalers, and food services.
  • Prior experience with Mainstream market is a plus.
  • Excellent presentation, written, and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to organize and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
  • Willingness and ability to travel domestically and/or internationally within the assigned territory.
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
  • Proficiency in Google Apps, MS Office Suite, and related tools.
