We are seeking a dedicated Safety Manager fluent in Korean to oversee safety operations across our Ohio and Georgia locations. If you have experience in safety management within a manufacturing setting, we want to hear from you!

Position Overview

The Safety Manager will report directly to the Leader of the Smart Factory teams, taking full responsibility for the safety of our facilities. This role involves creating, managing, and implementing health and safety policies to promote a safe working environment.

Job Responsibilities & Key Functions

• Safety Oversight: Manage daily safety initiatives, ensuring compliance with regulations and internal policies.
• Safety Planning: Assist in developing site-specific safety plans and procedures.
• Implementation: Execute site safety plans and procedures effectively.
• Data & Metrics: Collect and analyze safety metrics regularly.
• Incident Management: Lead investigations into safety incidents and perform root cause analysis.
• Reporting: Prepare safety documentation, incident reports, and safety alerts.
• Hazard Mitigation: Develop practices to mitigate hazards and oversee safety audits.
• Compliance: Monitor and maintain Safety Management System programs to adhere to all pertinent regulations.
• Workplace Safety: Observe, evaluate, and ensure the implementation of safe work practices on site.
• Training: Schedule and coordinate safety training sessions as needed.

Qualifications & Preferred Skills

• 4-5 years of experience in health and safety management, preferably in large manufacturing or construction projects.
• Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health & Safety or a related field.
• Understanding of HSE systems, metrics, KPIs, statistical methods, and continuous improvement methodologies.
• Knowledge of OSHA and related safety regulations.
• OSHA certification is preferred.
• Excellent project management and multitasking skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and deliver sustainable results.
• Fluent in Korean and English, with strong communication skills.
