Position Details & Requirements

  • Assignments: May be assigned to specific countries or temporarily to neighboring countries based on mission needs.
  • Flexibility: Must be willing to adapt day-to-day tasks as mission requirements change.
  • Skills: Quick thinker, professional judgment, basic computer proficiency (Windows, MS Word, MS Excel).
  • Culture & Conduct: Conduct oneself respectfully according to local customs and culture.
  • Work Under Pressure: Capable during extended periods of high stress and operational demands.
  • Physical Fitness: May be required to go on missions outside the wire; physical fitness is essential.
  • Language Skills: Fluent reading, writing, listening, and speaking in the required foreign language(s) and English; provide accurate translations and interpretations.
  • Operational Duties: Activities may include DOCEX, verbal translation, audio translation, and train/sustain operations.
  • Availability: Must be flexible to work any hours/days per mission needs.
  • Deployment Conditions: Work and living environments may be extreme, austere, or in potential war zones, with inherent risks.

Phased Hiring Process 📝

Successful candidates will need to:

  • Pass reference, criminal, and credit screenings
  • Possess an active Secret or Top Secret clearance
  • Complete language proficiency evaluations (reading, writing, listening, speaking)
  • Undergo vetting, which may include a polygraph test
  • Meet US CENTCOM deployment qualifications
  • Secure appropriate country visas and clearances

Language & Security Requirements 🔐

  • Languages Required: Russian (minimum CAT II/III)
  • Clearance: Active Secret or Top Secret clearance necessary
