Opportunity

You will be the dynamic force behind our language training courses, customizing and delivering engaging learning experiences. From eLearning modules and interactive lectures to discussions, team exercises, readings, case studies, role plays, and practical demonstrations, you'll create unforgettable language learning journeys for all participants. 🌍

Responsibilities

• Instructional Material Utilization: Utilize government- or contractor-provided documentation, including assessment plans, instructor guides, and student materials.
• Teaching Approach: Tailor methods to match varied student learning styles and strategies.
• Instruction Delivery: Conduct engaging synchronous and asynchronous learning activities.
• Course Content: Teach ISO-Immersions and supplement lessons with authentic contemporary materials.

Collaborative Work 🤝

• Work seamlessly as part of a teaching team.
• Collaborate with course developers, curriculum managers, government, and contractor instructors to design and implement effective training.

Technology Integration 💻

• Use basic classroom tech, including audio/video/DVD setups and MS Office applications.
• Leverage advanced tools such as Smart Board/Symposium, Blackboard, MS Teams, and camera equipment.

Feedback & Assessment

• Provide constructive feedback on student progress to government authorities.
• Ensure assessments support course objectives and learning outcomes.

Qualifications

• Clearance: Ability to pass security vetting.
• On-site Instruction: MANDATORY
• Education & Experience: B.A./B.S. from an accredited institution or 4 years of relevant experience.
• Language Proficiency:
  • ILR level 2 in reading, writing, speaking, and listening in English.
  • ILR level 4 in your native language.
  • ILR level 3 in reading and listening in the target language; ILR 4 in English.
  • Proficiency levels documented within the last 3 years.
• Teaching Experience: At least 5 years of adult language education and methodology.
• Technical Skills: Six months of experience with language fonts, keyboards, and training software.

Compensation & Benefits 💼

Salary Range: $78,700 - $165,200
