CTC Group is seeking highly skilled, cleared linguists with intelligence experience to support fast-paced, travel-only language support missions across various locations worldwide. If you excel in translation, interpretation, and transcription, and are ready for challenging environments, this is your opportunity!

Responsibilities

• Translation: Translate materials between the target language and English with great attention to detail and quality.
• Interpretation: Perform consecutive interpretation during meetings and conferences in both languages.
• Travel Support: Willingness and ability to travel for work trips lasting one month or longer, several times per year, including high-risk and austere locations.
• Language Proficiency: Native-level Russian (5/5/5 SLR scores) and strong Ukrainian (3/3+/3+ SLR scores) are required for travel roles, along with excellent interpretation skills. TDYs may last up to 90 days, within the U.S. and internationally.
• Additional Services: Provide transcription, summarization, gisting, editing, quality control, workflow management, and related translation services.
• Subject Matter Expertise: Apply knowledge across technical, political, military, religious, science & technology, and sponsor operations topics.
• Teamwork & Flexibility: Thrive in fast-paced environments requiring adaptability, professionalism, and collaboration.

Requirements

• Security Clearance: Active TS/SCI with polygraph.
• Education: Bachelor’s degree obtained in the U.S. or relevant country.
• ICA Testing:
  • Translation Assessment (TA): 4 for Russian, 3 for Ukrainian
  • SLR Proficiency: 4/4/4 for Russian; 3/3+/3+ for Ukrainian
• Experience: Proven experience in interpretation, translation, transcription, editing, quality control, and workflow support.
• Subject Matter Expertise: Knowledge in religion, science & technology, and sponsor operations.
• Desired Skills: Monitoring, terminology management, report writing, counter-terrorism, cyber, geospatial, legal, military, and narcotics expertise.

Compensation & Benefits

The salary range for this position is $135,000 - $210,000, influenced by factors such as location, experience, and education. CTC Group offers comprehensive benefits including health, dental, vision, 401(k), PTO, holiday pay, disability, and life insurance.
