Language & Community Focus (Required) 🗣️
This role primarily serves a large Chinese-speaking resident population. Fluency in Cantonese and/or Mandarin is required to effectively support residents, build trust, and deliver services.

As a Resident Services & Wellness Coordinator, you will directly support residents’ daily well-being and long-term stability. This community-centered role involves building trust, connecting residents to vital resources, and creating programs that foster health, independence, and engagement.
You will assist residents in navigating challenges, accessing services, and participating in initiatives that strengthen both individual outcomes and the broader community. Ideal candidates are people-centered, resourceful, and energized by community work.
Compensation 💰
- Hourly Range: $24.00 – $28.00 DOE
Starting pay depends on experience and skills. EBALDC offers a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, vision, retirement, and paid time off.
Your Responsibilities 🌟
- Provide personalized resident support, referrals, and service coordination
- Assist residents with healthcare, food access, financial aid, and public benefits
- Plan and facilitate community programs, workshops, and engagement activities
- Coordinate wellness initiatives (health education, fitness, aging support)
- Track participation, maintain documentation, and support reporting
- Collaborate with Property Management and community partners
A Typical Day in the Role 🗓️
Check in with residents, coordinate programs, and connect individuals to resources. Your day may involve hosting wellness events or community gatherings, while also managing follow-ups, documentation, and planning—always centered on building trust and helping residents thrive.
What You Bring to the Role 🎯
- Experience in human services, public health, or community-based work (or equivalent)
- Experience working with diverse communities; seniors or affordable housing experience preferred
- Fluency in Cantonese and/or Mandarin (required)
- Strong communication, organizational, and relationship-building skills
- Ability to juggle multiple priorities and maintain confidentiality
Work Environment 🏢
Onsite at an EBALDC property with regular resident interaction. Some evenings and weekends may be required.
Preferred Qualifications 🌐
- Experience working with seniors, families, or affordable housing communities
- Familiarity with public benefits and community resource systems
Physical & Work Environment Requirements 🚶♂️
