NuSource Is Hiring A Resale Warehouse Operations Manager
Resale Warehouse Operations | Startup Resale & Logistics | Bilingual (Spanish) Required
Location: Philadelphia, PA (On-site, 19125)
Pay: $65,000.00 - $71,000.00 per year
The Challenge
NuSource isn’t your standard, climate-controlled Amazon facility. We operate in the gritty, high-variability world of returns, clothing and accessories. We don’t just move boxes; we manufacture products from chaos. We are currently in the middle of a critical digital transformation, moving a 10-person veteran team from 100% manual "old school" methods to ShipHero (WMS). We need an Architect of Operations who can earn the respect of a tenured crew, master the nuances of our inventory, and build a world-class fulfillment engine from the ground up.
The Mission
As the Warehouse Manager, you own the "Box to Buyer" lifecycle. You aren't just supervising; you are optimizing the unit economics of the floor.
- Own the Tech Transition: You’ll take the reins of our newly launched WMS, Shiphero. You’ll be the go-to person for troubleshooting tech hiccups, optimizing workflows, and ensuring the system is fully leveraged to maximize our footprint and efficiency
- End-to-End Execution: Accountable for the entire lifecycle: Receiving → Sorting → Storage → Fulfillment → Shipping.
- The Art of the "Grade": You must become an expert in our product. You will audit the team’s quality control to ensure "A-Grade" stays separate from "B-Grade" bulk.
- Bilingual Leadership: You will lead a veteran, predominantly Spanish-speaking team. You must be able to coach, discipline, and inspire in fluent Spanish.
- Drive the Numbers: You are responsible for Cost-Per-Unit, Order Accuracy, and Daily Throughput. You will translate "floor chaos" into clear, data-backed reports for ownership.
- Process Architecture & Documentation: You aren't just following rules; you are writing them. You will own the creation and continuous improvement of the "Warehouse Playbook." This includes writing clear SOPs for every station (Receiving to Outbound), and identifying "waste" in the current workflow to re-engineer it for scale.
- Space & Efficiency: Optimize warehouse layout, density, and flow paths to manage high-variability inventory.
Who You Are
- Operational Fluency: You are equally comfortable running a huddle on a loud production floor as you are analyzing labor-efficiency data on a laptop. You speak the language of the "Front Line" and the "Bottom Line."
- A "Front-Lines" Leader: You have a "no task is beneath me" attitude. You lead by example and aren't afraid to get your hands dirty to find a bottleneck.
- High-EQ Change Manager: You have the thick skin and steady hand required to manage a veteran team through the friction of tech adoption.
- Profit Protector: You treat every labor hour like a variable cost. You see the warehouse as a chess board where every move impacts the margin.
- Startup Pace: You’re more than comfortable working in a "build-as-you-go" environment where priorities can shift daily.
The Hard Requirements
- Fluency in Spanish is non-negotiable.
- Proven experience in warehouse management or high-volume production (e.g., apparel, perishables, or reverse logistics).
- High proficiency with WMS software (ShipHero preferred, Netsuite, etc.).
- Demonstrated ability to manage KPIs (Total Cost, Throughput, and Error Rates).
Why NuSource?
This is a "ground floor" opportunity in the circular economy. We are growing fast, and we need a partner, not a passenger. You will have the autonomy to build the processes you’ve always wanted to run.
How to Apply: Skip the generic cover letter. Tell us about a time you led a team through a significant transition. How did you manage the learning curve of a new tech system while maintaining high morale and respecting the expertise of the people on the floor?
