Job Description

Certified Languages International (CLI) has been connecting clients with top-tier interpreting services since 1996. Thousands of organizations rely on CLI to facilitate communication with Limited English Proficient (LEP) speakers nationwide.

Position Details

• Type: Contract, 100% over-the-phone interpretation 📞
• Industry: Medical, insurance, financial, utility companies, customer service, state courts, and more
• Schedule: Flexible work from home; set your own hours to serve 24/7 needs
• Location: Must reside in the United States; legal work authorization required (SSN/EIN & Photo ID)

Requirements

• Experience: Minimum of two years of professional interpreting, preferably over the phone
• Languages: Proficiency in Dari, Farsi, and/or Pashto
• Legal: Must meet all US work requirements and reside in the US
• Assessment: Completion of a language assessment (details provided later)

Compensation & Payment

• Pay Structure: Per-minute basis for all interpreted minutes
• Payment Schedule: Twice a month – 15th and last day of each month
• Methods: Direct deposit or mailed check via US Postal Service
