Position Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

  • Handle inbound and outbound customer contacts with courtesy and professionalism 📞
  • Achieve first call resolution through effective problem-solving 🎯
  • Research systems to retrieve missing information; coordinate with other departments when needed 🔍
  • Accurately document and process customer claims in our systems 📝
  • Use knowledge bases and training to answer questions accurately, following scripts and policies 📚
  • Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information 🔒
  • Escalate complex issues to appropriate staff or management for resolution 🚀
  • Participate in meetings and ongoing training to stay current on programs, systems, and procedures 📅
  • Adhere to attendance and schedule requirements ⏰

Required Qualifications:

  • Must be 18+ years old
  • High school diploma or equivalent 🎓
  • Fluent in English and Spanish 🗣️
  • Strong organizational, written, and verbal communication skills 📝
  • Fast and accurate typing (20+ WPM) ⌨️
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook) 💻
  • Understanding of Windows OS
  • Reliable attendance and punctuality ✅
  • Ability to troubleshoot and follow-up on customer issues ⚙️
  • Conflict resolution, problem-solving, and negotiation skills 🤝
  • Customer-focused: empathetic, responsive, patient, conscientious 💖
  • Ability to multi-task, stay focused, and self-manage 🎯
  • Strong team orientation and relationship-building skills 🤗

  • Excellent interpersonal skills

Preferred (Not Required):

  • 1+ year of experience in customer service, technical support, inside sales, or contact center roles 🕐
  • Experience with State or Federal government work

Physical & Conditions of Employment

Physical Requirements:

This role is primarily remote, involving sedentary work. You will sit/stand for long periods, operate a computer, and use a telephone headset. Occasional movement, reaching, lifting objects up to 40 pounds, and operating office equipment are necessary.
