What You’ll Do…

As a Part-Time Personal Host (Relocation Consultant), you will be a trusted guide for clients and employees throughout their relocation journey. From coordinating moves and managing logistics with a white-glove approach to providing personalized support, you will help newcomers feel at home in their new city.

This role offers a primarily remote schedule (60-70%), with 30-40% in-person city support. You’ll have the flexibility to manage your time, aligning with our flexible work policies while being available to meet clients' needs.

Success in this role hinges on deep local knowledge, excellent interpersonal skills, and enthusiasm for helping others navigate change. Strong project management, problem-solving, tech proficiency, and organization are essential to delivering a smooth relocation experience.

How You’ll Do It…

• Build relationships: Connect with relocating employees to understand their needs, preferences, and concerns.
• Provide guidance: Share insights on neighborhoods, transportation options, and local culture to inform decisions.
• Research support: Conduct housing and school research, including rental trends, school ratings, and commute times.
• Assist with logistics: Help with DMV registration, banking setup, and other vital services for a seamless transition.
• Personalized recommendations: Curate social, cultural, and lifestyle activities—restaurants, events, fitness centers, and family venues.
• Deliver tailored information: Use research, local expertise, and Relocity’s proprietary tools to prepare client reports.
• Lead tours: Coordinate in-person or virtual neighborhood tours, highlighting key amenities and housing options.
• Maintain communication: Engage with clients via phone, email, video calls, or in person to answer questions and provide updates.
• Primary point of contact: Manage the entire relocation process, liaising with clients, partners, and vendors.
• Manage multiple relocations: Stay organized, detail-oriented, and proactive in following up.
• Administrative tasks: Keep client records updated, document interactions, and complete necessary tasks promptly.

What Past Experience and Current Skills Will Enable Your Success?

• Legal right to work in the United States
• At least 5 years of residency in Milpitas, with deep knowledge of local rental markets, schools, and registration processes
• Fluent in English and at least one of the following: Korean, German, or Hebrew
• Owns a reliable, registered, insured 4-door vehicle with a valid driver’s license, necessary for client tours and searches
• Availability to dedicate at least 20 hours per week, with flexibility for weekends
• Friendly, outgoing demeanor with strong customer service and problem-solving skills
• Self-motivated, independent worker with effective time management
• Experience with personal relocation or moving assistance is a plus but not required

Education and Technology Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree (preferred) or equivalent
• Extensive experience with Microsoft Office, Google GSuite, and CRM systems
• Must own a laptop, smartphone, and have a reliable internet connection

Language Skills

• Ability to read and interpret contracts, safety rules, and procedural manuals
• Ability to write routine reports and correspondence
• Effective communication skills, capable of speaking before groups or organizations

Compensation & Equal Opportunity

💰 Pay Range: $30.66 - $33.15 per hour
