Position Overview

Looking to make a significant impact as an RN in a unique educational setting? An onsite contract opportunity is available for a compassionate and experienced Evening Registered Nurse to support students from 3pm-11pm, Sunday through Thursday, during the academic year. The role starts as soon as possible and extends through June 2026. This position offers the chance to work closely with young learners within a supportive, specialized environment.

Required Qualifications

• Active registered nurse (RN) license
• Minimum of 1+ year RN experience
• Candidates who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered

Desired Qualifications

• Current RN license, with a preferred background in school nursing
• At least three years of pediatric nursing experience
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred
• Ability to work onsite, evening hours (3pm-11pm), with a Sunday-Thursday schedule
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, especially with children and educational teams
• Adept at responding quickly and calmly to routine and urgent medical situations

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee and support students' health and wellbeing onsite during evening hours, managing both daily needs and emergencies
• Collaborate with teachers, counselors, and school personnel to ensure student care
• Maintain accurate records and clear communication regarding treatments, medications, and health plans
• Provide health education and support for students, staff, and families as needed
