🚒 Position Summary
The Aftermarket Sales Representative is tasked with expanding Rosenbauer’s market penetration both domestically and internationally. This role handles customer-initiated requests for replacement products, maintains regular communication with dealers, customers, and vendors to ensure order accuracy and resolves any complaints or discrepancies. The representative also focuses on building and nurturing Rosenbauer’s relationships with its customers.
📝 Essential Functions

- 🔧 Effectively promote aftermarket machine parts, kits, and upgrades by analyzing customer machinery and identifying potential needs.
- 🤝 Provide consistent, superior customer service; address all customer needs and maintain high satisfaction levels.
- 🌱 Build sustainable relationships and trust through open communication to encourage repeat business.
- 📈 Increase aftermarket sales volume with both existing and new customers.
- ⚙️ Collaborate with customers and dealers to identify fabricated parts and coordinate with engineering and production teams.
- 🛠️ Work actively with customers and dealers to grow sales of loose parts and equipment.
- 🤝 Partner with dealers to understand their customer base needs.
- 📝 Conduct frequent and documented communications with dealers and customers.
- 🎯 Assist the Aftermarket Manager in identifying support needs for dealers and customers.
- 📊 Make decisions to fulfill dealer needs and increase Rosenbauer’s market share.
- 🤝 Work cross-functionally with departments such as Production and Engineering to support customer requirements.
- 🔄 Perform other duties as assigned to meet company objectives.
🎓 Qualifications
🧠 Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSA’s)
K – Knowledge, Education, and Experience
- 🎓 High school diploma required.
- 🎓 Bachelor’s degree in business administration, sales, marketing, or finance preferred.
- 💼 1+ years of sales or customer service experience required.
- 🚗 2+ years of industrial parts sales experience in the automotive or manufacturing industry preferred.
- 🤝 Account management experience preferred.
- 🌍 Fluency in Spanish, German, Arabic, or Hebrew is a plus.
S – Skills
- Language Skills:
- Ability to interpret business publications, technical procedures, and regulations.
- Proficient in writing reports and professional correspondence.
- Effective at presenting information and responding to diverse audiences.
- Capable of following directions and communicating new information clearly.
- Math Skills:
- Able to perform calculations involving discounts, interest, commissions, percentages, etc.
- Computer Skills:
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and MAS 500 at an intermediate level.

- Strong attention to detail and understanding of specifications.

🔑 Additional Qualifications & Travel Requirements
- 🚗 Valid driver’s license required; may need to travel off-site for tradeshows, meetings, or company events.
- 🚙 Own vehicle preferred for travel purposes.
- 🕒 Ability to work evenings and weekends occasionally as needed.
- 🌍 Travel needed for local trips, overnight stays, or prolonged periods away.
