About the Role 📝

We are seeking a Business Development Manager to join our sales team at RTS and Shamrock Trading Corporation. This role entails lead generation, high-volume outbound prospecting, and offering customized solutions to meet customer needs. The ideal candidate is self-motivated, personable, ambitious, and adaptable.

What You’ll Do 🔍

  • Manage processes from lead generation and prospecting to qualifying and closing new accounts
  • Conduct consultative sales discussions to assess client needs and present RTS fuel card solutions
  • Identify cross-selling opportunities across divisions to enhance account value
  • Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with new and existing clients 🤝
  • Support high-severity requests and issue escalations as needed
  • Utilize established strategies to maximize sales yield
  • Participate in strategic planning including market analysis and customer segmentation
  • Monitor industry trends, competitors, and market potential to inform sales strategies
  • Collaborate with marketing to support product launches, create sales tools, and deliver engaging presentations
  • Track key performance metrics and refine sales approaches accordingly
  • Perform other duties as assigned

What You’ll Bring 🎯

  • Bachelor’s degree and 2+ years of business development experience
  • Proven success in solutions-based sales over the phone and in-person
  • Experience with high-volume cold calling and face-to-face sales
  • Excellent customer service and project management skills
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, multi-product environment
  • Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
