Job Summary

Responsibilities

• Provide accurate interpretation between Punjabi and English during conversations, meetings, or official proceedings
• Translate written documents from Punjabi to English and vice versa with precision and cultural sensitivity
• Facilitate communication in diverse settings such as healthcare appointments, legal consultations, community outreach programs, or educational sessions
• Assist clients and professionals by clarifying complex terminology or concepts in both languages
• Maintain confidentiality of all interpreted information and adhere to ethical standards of interpretation
• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth flow of information and resolve any language-related issues promptly

Experience & Qualifications

• Proven experience as a multilingual interpreter or translator, preferably with a focus on Punjabi-English interpretation
• Strong understanding of linguistics principles and translation techniques
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to convey messages clearly and effectively in both languages
• Familiarity with interpretation in healthcare, legal, or community services is highly desirable
• Bilingual proficiency in Punjabi and English is required
• Ability to work independently while managing multiple assignments efficiently

Compensation & Benefits
