Job Responsibilities 🎯
- Product Management: Monitor and analyze sales, market share, competitive activities, and consumer insights to manage product portfolios effectively.
- P&L Leadership: Set and oversee profit and loss targets across categories and channels.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with supply chain and operations teams to ensure infrastructure supports category strategies.
- Category Analysis & Innovation: Conduct analyses and recommend new products or features to enhance the product pipeline and align with company goals.
- New Product Development (NPD): Lead the entire NPD process from conception to launch, including pricing, positioning, and packaging, working closely with R&D and other teams.
- Marketing Strategy: Develop marketing plans and strategies to effectively communicate product value to consumers.
- Marketing Campaigns: Manage marketing projects such as packaging, advertising, digital marketing, and social media collaborations with internal teams and external agencies.
- Vendor & Partner Management: Oversee external vendors, including advertising, PR, and market research agencies.
- Market Positioning: Recommend strategies for product positioning, packaging, and pricing to secure long-term market share.
- Strategic Planning: Create and maintain a 3-year plan focused on growth and profitability through product innovation.
- Lifecycle Management: Oversee product lifecycle activities, including enhancements and SKU rationalization.
- Market Research: Identify research needs, conduct marketing studies, and monitor industry trends to stay ahead of market developments.
- Marketing Collateral: Develop sales materials such as sell sheets and brochures.
- Asset Management: Ensure all artwork and marketing materials are current and properly archived.
- Budget Management: Prepare annual marketing budgets and deliver initiatives within allocated resources.
Skills & Qualifications 🚀
- Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Advertising, Business Administration, or related fields; MBA is a plus.
- Passion for food and healthy living.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in brand or product innovation marketing, preferably in the food industry (CPG experience required).
- At least 3 years of B2C or B2B experience with basic P&L understanding.
- Proficiency in MS Office applications, especially Excel and PowerPoint; experience with IRI, Nielsen, and Spins is preferred.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Strong ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple priorities effectively.
Pay Range 💰
$75,000 - $85,000
