Primary Care Physician (Bilingual Chinese / New Graduates Welcome)

Location: Parkville, MD

Schedule: Full-time, Monday to Friday (8 AM - 5 PM)

Position Overview

Located in Parkville, Maryland, a thriving primary care practice is seeking a Board-Certified Internal Medicine or Family Medicine Physician who is fluent in both English and Chinese (Mandarin or Cantonese). The physician will deliver compassionate, comprehensive outpatient care to a diverse patient population, with a special emphasis on serving the local Chinese-speaking community.

This role is ideal for a physician who values continuity of care, teamwork, and cultural sensitivity. New graduates are encouraged to apply!

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive outpatient internal medicine or family medicine services, including preventive care, chronic disease management, and acute illness evaluation.
• Perform thorough patient assessments, order and interpret diagnostic tests, and develop evidence-based treatment plans.
• Coordinate care with specialists, nurses, and other healthcare providers to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation within the electronic medical record (EMR) system.
• Provide culturally competent care, ensuring effective communication with Chinese-speaking patients and their families.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives, clinical meetings, and continuing education programs.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
• Board Certified in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine
• Maryland medical license or eligibility to obtain one
• Fluency in Chinese — Mandarin or Cantonese (spoken required; written preferred)
• Experience in outpatient or community primary care preferred
• Familiarity with EMR systems (e.g., Epic, eClinicalWorks)
• Commitment to serving multilingual and multicultural patient populations
