Position: Primary Care Physician - Bilingual in Cantonese Required

Salary: $240,000 - $270,000 *Wider range available depending on experience and location

Role Overview 🤝

The primary care physician at Oak Street Health is pivotal in providing equitable, effective, and value-based healthcare to local Medicare populations across our innovative neighborhood clinics. Our physicians operate within a collaborative environment supported by large care teams, enabling a focus on quality care rather than service volume. Our value-based care model rewards positive outcomes, minimizes hospital admissions, emphasizes preventive medicine, and fosters an exceptional patient experience. Key Responsibilities 📝

• Assess, diagnose, and treat patients at local clinics
• Oversee, direct, and administer primary care services
• Prescribe medications and pharmaceutical treatments
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date Electronic Medical Records via Canopy and Greenway
• Collaborate with regional and central leadership to meet health quality targets
• Partner with Practice Managers to lead the center care team
• Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications 📝

Required 📜

• Medical Doctor (M.D.) or Doctor of Osteopathy (D.O.)
• Graduate training in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine
• Board certification (or eligibility) in the relevant specialty
• Active, unrestricted State License
• Active DEA license
• US work authorization

Preferred 🌟

• Fellowship training in Geriatrics
• Experience caring for Geriatric populations
• Familiarity with Value-Based Healthcare Models
• Experience in outpatient primary care settings
• Bilingual proficiency in Cantonese and English
• Experience working collaboratively to improve health outcomes

Work Hours & Compensation ⏰💰

Estimated Weekly Hours: 40

Type: Full-time

Pay Range: $174,070.00 - $374,920.00 annually
