Position: Primary Care Physician - Bilingual in Cantonese Required

Salary Range: $240,000 - $270,000 *Wider range available depending on experience and location

Role Overview 📋

The primary role of a Primary Care Physician at Oak Street Health is to deliver equitable, effective, and value-based healthcare to Medicare patients within our innovative neighborhood clinics. Operating within a supported medical center and care teams, physicians can focus on providing high-quality care rather than volume-based services. Our model emphasizes outcomes, preventive medicine, and creating an exceptional patient experience, complemented by competitive bonuses.

We welcome physicians motivated to serve older adults—new graduates are encouraged to apply. Highly qualified candidates may also be considered for a Center Medical Director role.

Responsibilities 🎯

  • Assess and diagnose patients at local clinics
  • Oversee, direct, and administer primary care services
  • Prescribe and manage pharmaceutical treatments and medications
  • Maintain Electronic Medical Record data via Canopy and Greenway systems
  • Collaborate with regional and central leadership to meet health quality goals
  • Partner with Practice Managers to lead care teams
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications ✅

  • Medical Doctor (M.D.) or Doctor of Osteopathy (D.O.)
  • Graduate in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine
  • Board Certified or Board Eligible
  • Active, unrestricted State Medical License
  • Active DEA license
  • US work authorization

Preferred Qualifications 🌟

  • Fellowship training in Geriatrics
  • Experience working with Geriatric populations
  • Experience in a Value-Based Healthcare Model
  • Collaborative care experience to ensure positive health outcomes
  • Outpatient primary care experience
  • Bilingual proficiency in Cantonese and English (where applicable)

Compensation 💰

The typical pay range for this role is $174,070.00 - $374,920.00. The exact salary offer depends on factors like experience, education, and location. This range reflects the full spectrum of positions within this job grade.
