A fantastic opportunity for full-time or part-time Nurse Practitioners or Physician Assistants to become part of a well-established primary care group dedicated to providing comprehensive, patient-centered healthcare in the vibrant city of New Orleans.

This reputable group offers a wide range of primary care services including OB/GYN, chronic disease management, health screenings, behavioral health, counseling, stress management, and family therapy. Known for delivering high-quality, cost-effective care, they have received national recognition for their patient-centered approach.
Schedule & Compensation 💼
- Office Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
- Saturday Rotation: 1-2 Saturdays per year, 8:00 AM - 12:00 PM
- Work Schedule: Preference for full-time; part-time considered
- EMR System: Athena
- Patients per Day: 15-18

Call & Work Environment 📞

What You'll Be Doing 📝
- Conduct physical exams and medical assessments
- Diagnose and treat acute and chronic illnesses
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests and lab results
- Prescribe medications and treatments
- Educate patients and families on health promotion and disease prevention
- Refer patients to specialists as needed
- Coordinate care with healthcare team members
- Maintain accurate patient records
- Develop and implement treatment plans collaboratively
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives
Qualifications & Requirements 🎓
- Current registration as an Advanced Practice Nurse in Louisiana
- Certification as a Nurse Practitioner from the American Nurse’s Credentialing Center
- Master of Science in Nursing from an accredited program (ANA or AANP accredited)
- Excellent clinical, critical thinking, and communication skills
- Adherence to legal and ethical standards; patient confidentiality
- Community health experience is a plus
- Up-to-date Continuing Education credits
