Position: Bilingual Pharmacy Technician (English/Spanish) 📝
Support the daily operations of our mental health pharmacy by dispensing prescriptions and performing clerical duties, all under the supervision of a registered pharmacist.
Work Schedule & Location 📍
- Hours: 35 hours weekly
- Schedule: Monday–Thursday 9:00am–5:00pm, Friday 9:00am–3:00pm (flexible)
- Location: 1448 Fifth Avenue, Suite P1, Bay Shore, NY, 11706
Primary Responsibilities 🎯
- Provide exceptional customer service to patients and staff
- Fill prescriptions and prepare them for verification
- Order, receive, and store pharmacy supplies
- Process wholesaler medication orders
- Verify medication stock and update inventory records
- Assist the Pharmacist in maintaining compliance with federal and state regulations
- ️ Perform clerical duties related to pharmacy operations
- ️ Communicate professionally via verbal and written channels
- Perform additional duties as assigned
Qualifications 📝
Required ✅
- ️ Bilingual in English and Spanish
- Reliable transportation and a valid US driver's license
- Ability to work onsite at Bay Shore, NY, for 35 hours/week
Preferred ⭐
- Active and unrestricted Pharmacy Technician license in New York
- National Pharmacy Technician Certification
- Experience in pharmacy and prescription data entry
Compensation & Benefits 💰
The pay range for this role is $16.15 to $28.80 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications. Our benefits package includes:
