Position: Bilingual Pharmacy Technician (English/Spanish)
Support the daily functions of our mental health pharmacy by dispensing prescriptions and handling clerical duties, all under the supervision of a registered pharmacist.
Work Schedule & Location
- Hours: 35 hours weekly
- Schedule: Monday–Thursday 9:00am–5:00pm, Friday 9:00am–3:00pm (flexible)
- Location: 1448 Fifth Avenue, Suite P1, Bay Shore, NY, 11706
Primary Responsibilities
- 🌟 Provide exceptional customer service to patients and staff
- 💊 Fill prescriptions and prepare them for verification
- 📦 Order, receive, and store pharmacy supplies
- 📝 Process wholesaler medication orders
- 🔄 Verify medication stock and update inventory records
- 🤝 Assist the Pharmacist in maintaining compliance with federal and state regulations
- 🗂️ Perform clerical duties related to pharmacy operations
- ✉️ Communicate professionally via verbal and written channels
- 🔧 Perform additional duties as assigned
Qualifications
Required
- 🗣️ Bilingual in English and Spanish
- 🚗 Reliable transportation and a valid US driver's license
- 🏢 Ability to work onsite at Bay Shore, NY, for 35 hours/week
Preferred
- 📜 Active and unrestricted Pharmacy Technician license in New York
- 🎓 National Pharmacy Technician Certification
- 💻 Experience in pharmacy and prescription data entry
Compensation & Benefits 💰
The pay range for this role is $16.15 to $28.80 per hour, based on experience and qualifications. We offer a comprehensive benefits package including:
