Position: Bilingual (English/Spanish) Pharmacy Technician
This role supports all functions of the Genoa mental health pharmacy, primarily by dispensing prescriptions and performing clerical duties under the supervision of a registered pharmacist.
Work Schedule & Location
- Hours: 35 hours weekly
- Office Hours: Monday–Thursday 9:00am–5:00pm, Friday 9:00am–3:00pm
- Daily Lunch: 12:30pm–1:00pm
- Location: 1448 Fifth Avenue, Suite P1, Bay Shore, NY, 11706

Primary Responsibilities
- Providing exceptional customer service to consumers and clinic staff
- Filling prescriptions and making them available for pharmacist verification
- Ordering, receiving, and storing pharmacy supplies
- Processing wholesaler medication orders
- Verifying medication stock and maintaining inventory records
- Assisting the pharmacist with pharmacy functions and ensuring compliance with federal and state regulations
- Performing clerical duties related to pharmacy operations
- Communicating effectively with team members and patients
- Performing other duties as assigned

Qualifications
Required
- Fluent in both English and Spanish
- Reliable transportation and a valid US driver’s license
- Ability to work onsite at 1448 Fifth Avenue, Suite P1, Bay Shore, NY, 11706
- Availability to work 35 hours weekly
Preferred
- Active and unrestricted Pharmacy Technician license in New York
- National Pharmacy Technician Certification
- Experience with pharmacy and prescription data entry
