About the Role: Associate Personal Banker (SAFE) 🏦
Wells Fargo is seeking an Associate Personal Banker (SAFE) to join our National Branch Network within the Consumer Banking and Lending division. Learn more about our diverse career areas at wellsfargojobs.com.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver an exceptional customer experience by building meaningful relationships through proactive outreach
- Assist customers with account openings, service requests, and credit applications
- Follow direction from managers while exercising judgment within established policies
- Gain understanding of bank products to effectively connect with customer needs
- Demonstrate genuine care and build trust with customers through interaction
- Offer appropriate banking solutions and refer customers to specialists when needed
- Engage in SAFE Mortgage Licensing activities, including application and compliance requirements
Required Qualifications ✅
- At least 6 months of customer interaction experience (via work, training, military, or education)
- Bilingual proficiency in Spanish and English (speaking and listening)
Desired Qualifications ⭐
- Strong customer service skills and experience handling complex transactions
- Experience engaging with customers through outreach via phone or email
- Ability to educate customers on mobile banking and technology
- Proven team collaboration and relationship-building skills
- Ability to identify potential fraud or risky accounts and act accordingly
- Military experience related to personnel management, benefits, or leadership
- Proficiency in sourcing and maintaining customer and colleague relationships
Job Expectations & Requirements 🎯
- Availability to work primarily on most Saturdays
- Successful completion of language and SAFE registration assessments
- Responsible for cash handling and completing service tasks
- Compliance with all regulatory and licensing requirements, including the S.A.F.E. Mortgage Licensing Act of 2008
- Note: This position is **not** eligible for Visa sponsorship

Pay Range: $23.00 - $31.00/hour, varying based on experience, skills, and location.
