About the Role: Associate Personal Banker (SAFE) 🏦

Wells Fargo is seeking a dedicated Associate Personal Banker (SAFE) for our National Branch Network within the Consumer Banking and Lending division. Learn more about various career paths at wellsfargojobs.com.

Key Responsibilities: What You'll Do

• 🤝 Build strong customer relationships through proactive outreach and personalized solutions.
• 📝 Assist customers with opening accounts, service requests, and credit applications.
• 🎯 Follow managerial guidance while exercising sound judgment within company policies.
• 📚 Develop an understanding of bank products to meet customer needs.
• 🤗 Demonstrate care and rapport-building with clients.
• 🔍 Offer suitable banking options and refer customers to specialists as needed.
• 💼 Comply with the S.A.F.E. Mortgage Licensing Act of 2008 and related regulations, including background checks and Loan Originator requirements.

Qualifications: Do You Have What It Takes? ✅

Required

• 🕒 6+ months of customer interaction experience or equivalent (training, military, education).
• 🗣️ Bilingual in Spanish and English (speaking and listening).

Preferred

• 🌟 Strong customer service skills handling complex transactions.
• 📞 Experience engaging proactively with customers via phone or email.
• 📱 Ability to educate customers about mobile banking and technology.
• 🤝 Capable of building lasting relationships with customers and internal partners.
• 🔍 Skillful in identifying potential fraud or risky accounts.
• 🎖️ Military experience related to protocol, personnel management, or leadership.
• 🤝 Proven ability to source and maintain relationships professionally.
• 🙋 Supportive attitude toward resolving or escalating customer concerns.

Job Expectations: What You Need to Know 📝

• 📅 Flexibility to work on most Saturdays.
• 📝 Must pass required language assessments.
• 💰 Manage cash drawers, handle balancing, and complete service tasks.
• 🔒 Registered for SAFE at employment start; continued employment contingent upon compliance.
• 🚫 Not eligible for Visa sponsorship.
