Position Overview

The Teller is an entry-level role responsible for supporting branch activities, executing client-facing services, processing transactions, and collaborating with the Customer Service team. The primary goal is to ensure high-quality customer experiences and help the branch achieve its financial objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Welcome Clients: Serve as the first point of contact, creating a positive first impression through friendly and efficient service 😊
  • Process Transactions: Handle banking transactions accurately, manage cash supplies, handle deposits, and oversee vault cash 🏦
  • Identify Opportunities: Recognize referrals for new products and services aligned with clients’ financial goals 💡
  • Promote Digital Banking: Educate clients on Citi’s digital and self-service options 📱
  • Ensure Compliance: Follow bank policies, operational controls, and regulatory procedures to safeguard assets 🔐
  • Customer Issue Management: Address client needs promptly, escalating concerns when necessary ⚠️
  • Maintain Knowledge: Stay informed about client accounts, products, and services 🌐
  • Deliver Exceptional Service: Fulfill client needs while maintaining high service standards, measured by specific metrics ⭐
  • Risk Assessment & Compliance: Make informed business decisions, ensuring compliance with laws and policies, escalating issues transparently ⚖️

Qualifications & Skills

  • Previous relevant experience preferred 📝
  • Proven sales and customer service skills 🤝

Educational Requirements

Work Schedule & Location

Schedule (subject to change based on business needs):

  • Monday & Wednesday: 11:00 AM – 4:00 PM 🕒
  • Friday: 9:45 AM – 2:45 PM ⏰
  • Saturday: 9:30 AM – 2:30 PM 🕑
